Global Athlete Basketball Showcase Terms of Service

Welcome to the Global Athlete Basketball Showcase website (the “Site”) and events (the “Showcase”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, registration processes, and participation in the Showcase operated by Global Athlete Basketball Showcase (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering, accessing the Site, or participating, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or, if under 18, your parent/guardian.

1. Eligibility and Registration

• You must be an international high school (grades 9-12) or post-graduate boys’ basketball athlete, verified coach, or approved sponsor/partner.

• Registration requires a complete, accurate profile (height/weight, film links, academics, etc.). Incomplete profiles are rejected.

• Athlete fee: $85 (non-refundable after approval). Coach registration: Free.

• No walk-ins. All participation is invite-only after review and payment.

2. Event Participation

• The Showcase (May 15-16, 2026, Huntsville, AL) includes combine testing, 5-on-5 games, and evaluations. NCAA Live Period certified.

• You agree to follow rules, schedules, and staff instructions. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in removal without refund.

• We provide profiles, testing, games, and coach packets. Travel, lodging, meals are your responsibility.

• Film and data are shared with verified coaches only. No scholarship guarantees.

3. Payments and Refunds

• $85 athlete fee covers profile verification, event access, and post-event exposure.

• No refunds after spot confirmation. Limited spots are non-transferable.

• Payments processed securely; contact ronald@GlobalAthleteShowcase.com for issues.

4. Intellectual Property and Media Release

• You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your name, image, likeness, performance footage, and profile for promotional purposes (website, social media, coach packets).

• We own event photos/videos. Personal use allowed; commercial use requires permission.

5. Liability Waiver and Release

• Participation is at your own risk. You waive claims against us for injuries, losses, or damages from events, Site use, or third parties.

• We are not liable for negligence except gross negligence/willful misconduct. Assumption of risk for athletic activities.

• Hold harmless Global Athlete Basketball Showcase, staff, venues, and affiliates.

6. Conduct and Prohibited Activities

• No harassment, cheating, substance use, or disruption. Violations lead to disqualification.

• Accurate information required. Falsification voids participation and may lead to bans.

7. Privacy

• We collect profile data for evaluations and sharing with coaches. See our Privacy Policy for details.

• Email marketing opt-in; unsubscribe anytime.

8. NCAA Compliance

• Event complies with NCAA Live Period rules. Coaches must verify independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Site/event provided “as is.” No warranties. Liability capped at registration fee.

• Not responsible for lost opportunities, coach decisions, or external factors (weather, pandemics).

10. Termination

• We may suspend/terminate access for violations.

• Force majeure (illness, acts of God) may cancel/reschedule without liability.

11. Governing Law

• Alabama law applies. Disputes resolved in Huntsville courts.

12. Changes to Terms

• We may update Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
